Inner separation in the presence of Desire and Dream (as Vision)
Desire or Dream (Vision), as a conscious project turned toward a possible future, is unique to human beings.
Since the dawn of time, the need to progress, to improve life, and to reach for something greater has inspired us. Desires are a source of hope and self-transcendence: they spark a light in the eyes of those who aspire to a new adventure, a more fulfilling professional or personal path, a life partner, a new home, a new job, a sum of money—to name a few examples.
Inner Separation
As soon as a wish or a desire is identified, the following process takes place: our being splits into two dimensions.
- There is the one who desires, anchored in the present,
- And the one who will have fulfilled the desire, in a possible future.
Between these two identities lies Time, that space of waiting that separates us from realization. This gap creates emotions such as discomfort, doubt, sadness, even suffering. For we do not know when, how, where or even if our desire will materialize. This uncertainty fuels the feeling of anxiety and the fear of not succeeding. The more uncertain the outcome of a desire, the stronger the discontent and suffering.
However, if the goal seems near and accessible, the time phase becomes stimulating, generating momentum and positive energy.
Transforming Inner Separation into an Inner Journey
This time of separation can, however, be experienced differently. It can become an invitation to embark on an inner journey.
In doing so, you may:
- identify your limiting beliefs and inner programming that hold you back and create energetic resistance,
- reprogram your way of thinking and thus navigate with serenity this period of lack,
- reduce the temporal gap.
Thus, inner separation is no longer defined only by the time that keeps you from the realization of your desires but becomes a process of inner healing.
It becomes a space of growth where you can transcend old traumas, create new values aligned with your present self, and return to unity.
Energetic Insight – Observation of inner phenomenon
In my practice as an energy therapist, I have observed this inner phenomenon.
When a new desire is identified, the Solar Plexus (the energy centre located between the sternum and the navel or 3rd chakra) projects an energetic replica of our identity into a potential future.
Thus, we exist simultaneously:
- in the present, as our desiring self,
- and in this hypothetical future, already carrying the realization.
The Heart, the Solar Plexus and their connection
The Role of the Heart
No one will ever love you as much as the soul that you are. It always considers you with compassion, tenderness, love, and patience.
Connection with the soul is consciously experienced in the Heart.
- The Heart is inspiration, intuition, and spiritual guidance.
- It points to a destination and illuminates the path.
- It infuses calm and strength into the Solar Plexus.
The Role of the Solar Plexus
- The Solar Plexus translates the inspiration of the Heart into concrete action.
- It communicates with your environment, influences your decisions, and makes them physical and possible.
When the Solar Plexus is no longer connected to the Heart
When the Solar Plexus is “divided”, it loses contact with the Heart.
It becomes isolated and vulnerable. The soul that you are remains present, but you cease to feel it.
At that point the memories stored in the Solar Plexus (EGO) arise:
- lack of confidence,
- anxieties,
- limiting beliefs often inherited from childhood,
- the feeling of being a victim of circumstances and of vulnerability.
Your programming and limitations are often expressed in thoughts such as:
- I am not good enough.
- I don’t see how I can make it: I don’t have the money, the skills, the means.
- I am limited by the behaviour of others.
- I will never succeed, and I don’t have the time to wait.
- It never works out for me; others have more luck.
- I feel powerless, I don’t know how.
- I don’t get the help I need. Asking for help would mean admitting my weakness.
- The Universe is against me.
Restoring Unity
We often believe that the fulfilment of a desire will end our pain. But without awareness and inner healing, suffering can reappear as soon as a new desire arises. By focusing your attention on the Heart, you can transform this time of separation – sometimes felt as an insurmountable mountain —into a journey of discovery of your true nature and essence. Thus, you can regain the inner unity, confidence, love, and power that have always dwelled within you.
Desire and the Law of Vibration
From the moment a desire is born (Heart) and formulated (Solar Plexus), the Universe starts answering. Since everything is energy, and two similar vibrations attract one another, when your thoughts and your emotions are aligned with who you are—without resistance—you allow the receiving of the desired object. The Law of Attraction (part of Vibration law) is the art of receiving without resistance or interference the desires and projects that inspire and uplift you.
Reducing the Temporal Gap
The space created in you by desire begins to shrink the moment you redirect your attention on the Heart and live the desired situation as if it was already here.
Practicing Gratitude and Joy — Vibration of the Heart and Language of the Soul
To focus attention away from the discomfort of the “how” and to reach the vibration of the desired situation, you can engage in various practices. Taking the time to know, develop, and repeat these practices is key to success.
- Gratitude and Joy
- Place one hand on your chest, at the level of the heart, the centre of your being.
- Feel your heartbeat.
- Breathe deeply, as if you were breathing in and out directly through the heart.
- Once you feel the contact with your heart, think of something or someone that awakens joy: a spiritual moment, a child, an animal, a piece of music, a sacred image.
- Feel this joy in your heart and let it expand.
- Cultivate this feeling of gratitude and amplify it, like a flame growing within you.
- Speaking Gratitude with the Universe
- Inhale deeply through the nose, signalling to the Universe and the spirit world that you are ready to communicate.
- Exhale slowly and fully, thinking the word “Gratitude” or “Thank you”.
- At the end of the outbreath, imagine a light.
- Inhale this light while thinking of the word “Calm”.
- Feel your body.
- Take another deep breath.
- Exhale again thinking of the word “Gratitude” or “Thank you”.
- Visualize the light, then inhale the word “Confidence”.
- Repeat with the word “Joy”.
- Repeat once more, allowing a new word (peace, serenity, strength, etc.) to come to you spontaneously.
- Pause for a moment and feel the effect of the exercise, and notice the calm, confidence, and joy spreading throughout your body and mind.
- Using Imagination and Affirmation to feel the vibration of Alignment
You receive from the Universe what you vibrate. You do not attract what you desire, but what you are. The Universe does not distinguish whether the vibrations you emit come from a present or an imagined reality.
Your emotions create your vibrations.
The temporal gap between you and your goal shrinks when you imagine that what you desire already exists in the present. The key is to reach the vibration—or feeling—that will exist once the project is fulfilled, and to embody it before its realization.
Your thoughts create your emotions.
By changing your thoughts, you transform your feelings and align yourselves with the vibration of the desired future.
The Power of Affirmations
Affirmations are a wonderful tool for generating new emotions.
Unlike positive thinking, which can sometimes assuage doubts, affirmations work as a true energetic lever: they create within you a new vibration, one of growth and evolution.
- An affirmation takes root in your present reality and lifts it toward the desired reality.
- If it is too far removed from your current experience, you will not believe it, and it will not work.
- Affirmations are powerful when they are credible and comfortable to say.
There are many books and writings that offer affirmations for different situations. In my work, I create personalized affirmations with my clients, where every word matters and can determines the intensity of the affirmation.
Examples of Affirmations
- I am my powerful and loving soul, and I make my decisions with confidence.
- My body is resilient; my healthy cells are strong and nourished by the Love that I am.
- I am Abundance and always receive all that I need.
- I feel the vibration of my heart and I am safe.
- I am open and honest with my partner, and I rejoice in being myself.
The Power of Visualization
In energy, there are no small or big projects.
What truly matters is the vibration. The joy of smelling a rose vibrates just as strongly as finding a new home. Yet, in our eyes, manifesting a rose seems easier.
Remember Luke, in Star Wars, who believed lifting his spaceship out of the lake where it had sunk was impossible because of its weight. Just as Yoda who, with a single thought lifts the ship out of the water, creative energy will allow you to achieve your goals—whether it’s manifesting a flower or a castle!
Exercises:
- Imagine yourself sitting in a movie theatre, where you are the hero of the film.
Observe how you walk, talk, breathe, and live.
Feel how the hero that you are experiences well-being and happiness. - Try to manifest a desire that could be seen as a “small project”: finding a new outfit, an address, a recipe…Notice how quickly this manifestation happens, because it carries little resistance or consequence (synchronicity).
Conclusion
The discomfort you may feel when facing a desire or a dream is a sign that the Solar Plexus is in distress, while the Heart remains confident, open to success, love for yourself and for others.
Do not fear this discomfort and these doubts — they reveal the importance of your desires, and they are prayers sent to the Universe.
When alignment is achieved and the space-time gap diminishes, manifestations will surprise you with their speed and their nature.
And unity, now enabled, will be restored.
